Baby Photo
Photos accepted from September 25 - October 11, 2007 and may be dropped off at Main Source Bank to Mary Ritchie. Photos must be 4"X6" or smaller, color or black and white, professional or candid. Photos will not be returned.

Photos will be displayed at Main Source Bank, 100 E. Spring Street.

Two Categories - up to and including 17 months, also 18 months up to and including age three. Must be residents of Floyd, Clark, or Harrison County.

A panel of judges will select a boy and girl winner in each category. Photos will be judged on Friday,
October 13, 2007 and the winners will be notified and posted on window display.

All participants will be given a ribbon upon entering. Only winners are required to be present at the closing ceremonies on October 14, 2007, to receive their trophy.

Free for all ages. Rain location: City Parking Garage at State & Market Streets

Harvest Baking
Saturday, October 13, 2007 - 9:30 a.m. White House Centre, 1st Floor area, Pearl Street. Adult and children categories include pies, cakes, breads, bars, cookies, puddings and misc.

Home Decorating
Entry deadline is October 12, 2007. Judging on October 13, 2007. Open to all homes in Floyd County; must be owned or rented by the person entering the contest. An apartment building will be a single entry. Judged on originality, use of color and fall theme and overall appearance. Plaques awarded for first through third place.

Pumpkin Decorating
Sunday, September 30, 2007 - 3:00 p.m. Arby's on Charlestown Road. Group or individually prepared pumpkins may be painted or decorated with any material. Craft entries may be ceramic, fiber, or mache. No previous year craft entries accepted. Grand Champion for best use of theme: "40th Birthday Bash!" Drop off decorated pumpkins prior to 2:30 p.m. Judging at 3:00 p.m. Rain location: 4H barn on Green Valley Road. All entrants receive ribbons.
